Prayer of Salvation
“My life is broken – I recognize it’s because of my sin. I need you, Lord. I believe Christ came to live, die and was raised from the dead – to rescue me from my sin. Jesus, forgive me. I turn from my selfish ways and put my trust in you.
I know that you are Lord of all, and I will follow you.”
Romans 3:23 (Sin)

Romans 6:23 (Death and Punishment)

…that you can’t save yourself.

…that God sent His Son to bridge the gap of separation.
Jesus’ death allows us access to God. God did for you in Jesus what you could not do for yourself.
Romans 5:8; 2 Corinthians 5:21
… that you receive Jesus Christ through faith.
Faith is trusting in Jesus Christ and what He has done for you already, rather than trusting in your own efforts. Faith is complete reliance on Christ and allowing Him to live His life through you. Faith also involves repentance and willingness to turn from our sin.
John 14:6; Acts 16:31; Romans 10:9-10
